SUMMARY:the life from the inside
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the closing of art in the village\, glo is thrilled to invite you to a choreographed quartet by glo founder and choreographer lauri stallings in response to American artist Frank Stella\, curated by Hope Cohn.  Beginning at 7PM on Sunday\, January 25\, 2026\, glo moving artists Mary Jane Pennington\, Noëlle Dave’\, and Ashley Ianna Daye\, and pianist Choo Choo Hu will deliver the life from inside\, a 54 – minute experimental live art work. \nAs part of this live art piece\, stallings explores the intersection of stillness\, connection\, and longing as four individuals collaborate and interact closely\, while inhabiting the space of Stella’s K.3 relief sculpture\, bound by the act of meaning making. \nOpening this year’s body of work\, which will take the form of ancient labor systems\, a rural work\, and living archives\, stallings makes visible the sensation of real space within and outside of the action of an object\, and the epistemological significance of “total feeling\,” or “total experience” through movement\, place\, and experimental practice.
