Research + Process Residency: National Center for Civil and Human Rights

lauri is a research/process resident artist at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in 2024 to support her work across the Deep South, and research spiritual rhythm and aspects of life there.Starting with the premise that all people belong, stallings research concerns the spiritual significance of the rhythms through which humans live. The six-month residency extends support for generative process with lauri and glo moving artists Zandia Covington, Mary Jane Pennington, and Mechelle Tunstall. A series of Works in Process are offered to the public in May and June.
